Cruising the holidays

We left on Friday, November 19, with Courtney, Chase and I flying out of Boise at about 7:30 am. Flight left on time, we had a whole row to ourselves, we had a great trip down! Jared, Tyler and Hayley were excited to travel down to southern Utah to visit family and cousins for Thanksgiving. They were going to join us the following week. It ended up being the best decision we made to do things that way, and everything worked out so well!

Chase loved sitting by the window. Everything went nice and smooth!
Once in Orlando, we were debating on whether to backtrack all the way to the Disney World area or just head directly out to the port, but decided since we had a GPS and the day was still young, that we may as well. We had to hit our favorite spots in Downtown Disney while we could!
Our favorite place, Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney
Above: This Goofy's Candy Company sign was made out of jelly bellies. :)
Above: My favorite spot in the whole store: Chase posing with all the jelly belly flavors (my all time favorite treat).

Eating at Ghiradelli's ice cream shop! Courtney and Chase both had cookies and cream ice cream.
The dragon/sea serpent made of legos in the Downtown Disney lagoon.
 Outside the Lego Store!

Who could forget the Lego Store?? It is one of the largest ones I have ever seen and had everything Lego under the sun! Chase loved it in there and it was hard for him to leave but the night was getting late and we still had to travel all the way out to Port Canaveral.
Every color of lego imaginable! You could pick and choose legos in a bag just like in a candy shop.

Our room at the Radisson in Port Canaveral. We got in pretty late to check in so we were really lucky they were able to switch us a room with 2 beds.

On board the ship

Chase loves to play chess. We went to the open house at the Oceaneer Lab and him and Courtney played with the huge chess pieces while we waited for our room to be ready. Chase learned to play chess from the great kids counselors onboard a previous cruise.

Our cat. 11 room #6549

Heading out to the drill. This is DEFINITELY NOT one of my favorite things about cruising...thank goodness its over with fairly quickly.

Some more Halloween

I know these pictures are from 2 months ago, but I hadn't ran into them until now and was looking all over for them---(they were in a different camera). But I love them so much since it shows Chase in his costume at some parties, that I just have to post them even if just for myself.

Chase's class Halloween party

We used Chase's real scar for the Harry Potter scar. In fact, we always call it his Harry Potter scar. All we did was darken it and add a few zig zags to it, but it was every bit his own!

A few pics from our ward's Trunk of Treat party

Chase's friends that we live by

Dividing out the spoils! The kids had so much fun doing their piles of candy: a pile that they wanted to keep, ones they were willing to trade and the pile to give away if they didn't like them

Homecoming 2010

Well, this year we had 2 old enough to go to Homecoming! I can't believe how fast they are growing up. :(
It seemed like they had a great time, and were in nice large groups.
