The other boats could not keep up with the guide, but Jared could. This was about as close as they were the whole tour. Most of the time, they were way far behind.
This is the point where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. We would have gone a little further in, but the conditions were too rough.

Snorkeling in paradise
I soon found out it took alot of balance and coordination to drive these powerboats. You cannot sit on the bench because the tip of the boat goes up with the speed and waves and you cannot see to steer, so you have to stand leaning forward with both legs behind the bench, or put one knee on the bench and one off to the side. With the bumpy waves and rocky conditions, I could not keep my balance and almost fell of the boat. I am glad Jared could do it, because I sure couldn't. So I stayed sitting up front and got beat up by the hard bumps. I laughed so hard, and it was fun, but I was very sore the next day!

While we were in St, Martin, we forgot our camera, so we did not get any pictures there. We took a jet ski tour all around the island--- it was pretty wavy and rough, but fun.The following pictures are from St. Thomas and St. John's in the US Virgin islands. These were on the ferry ride over to St. John's.
A rundown house out on a desolate location by itself. I told Jared, I wouldn't mind living there, no matter what state the house was in.
The marina on St. Thomas

A huge yacht in one of the St. Thomas marinas.
We were lucky and got upgraded to an oceanview stateroom #2056. We have always had a balcony, but loved these staterooms better. Sizewise, they are the same, but it was nice not having to worry about the constant smoking on the nearby verandahs.
DCL upgraded all their Tvs to new flat screen TV's....much better, and more room behind it.
