Ryan and the characters!

We stayed with Ryan one afternoon in Epcot while the others went back for a break. His mission: to get more character pics, the girls' mission: to ride more rides. They were not too happy to get pictures taken, but we went on more rides soon after. LOL

Which is real and which is fake?

Above, the real Akershus (one of its towers). Below, WDW's restaraunt, Akershus

Above, real Stave church in Norway. Below, WDW's version.

Funny story. While on our Baltic cruise, when we went to Norway, even at the risk of sounding completely silly, I said to Hayley, "Ooooh these look just like at Disney World, I feel like I'm at Disney World!" to which Hayley laughed and replied, "Silly mother!"

So at WDW I told everyone about that and how it reminded me of Disney, and they laughed at me saying how good of a job Norway did copying Disney World!

Epcot is my favorite place!

Spaceship Earth, my favorite ride!!

The following are just some random shots around Epcot. I have some video of the Chinese acrobat kids, so I will try and go back and add it later.

I need to someday really take some time and explore these places more. Every time I am there, we are always hurrying to catch a show or the entertainment, so I know I miss out on alot...
But every time I go, I do get to see a little more here and there, so every time I discover something new.

Hollywood Studios: Friday, Sept 4
Above pic taken at 12:47 pm EST along the main street, middle of the day. Crowds were very low...never needed to use our fastpasses (except at Toy Story, of course)>
Emily and Mr Potatohead on Toy Story Midway Mania
Waiting for the American Idol Experience. We were able to walk right into the finale show, last one of the day, with not many people there. It's fun because they have the winners from all of the shows throughout the day at the finale to compete for the grand prize. The winner gets the "golden ticket" which is a front of the line pass at the auditions at the next American Idol. The kid who won was 16 and very charismatic, so who knows? Maybe we will see him on the AI show coming up!
The very empty theater. It felt like we were at the real thing!

Waiting for the bus that morning.

Our rooms at Coronado Springs 9/4-9/12

We were so happy that all of our rooms (except Becky's family who was checking in a day later) were all together five in a row, plus we were suprised they were ready when we checked in at 6:30 in the morning!

Coronado Springs had just renovated all of their rooms with bigger queen pillow top beds, better linens, huge flat screen tvs and dark hardwood furniture. They also put in sliding wood doors separating the bathroom area from the rest of the room, where before it was just a flimsy curtain. These rooms are much more deluxe and better than the old rooms that looked like this from before (2007):
