Stitches again

Poor Chase, he is probably one of the most accident prone kids we have had. The day after Christmas, he went with another family to play at Planet Kid, an indoor playground type place. Another older kid was messing around and playing too rough and jumped but accidentally hit into Chase and broke his teeth off in Chase's little head. Thank goodness the boy's dad was a dentist and was able to replace his boy's teeth and stitch up Chase's head so that he didn't even realize that was what they were doing. He was so brave!

Christmas

Opening presents on Christmas. If you look closely to the picture above, you can see Hayley's new braces that she got a few days before.

Chase playing with his Star Wars storm troopers
Chase got a Star Wars helmet that he wanted. The kids all have fun with it including Jared because it changes their voices.

Tyler took this picture when he woke up late one night at 2 am getting a drink of water. He loved how light it was outside even though it was no where near sun up.

Some icicles that Tyler took from the roof of the house (through an upstairs bathroom window). He and Chase wanted to save them, so they stayed in our freezer for about a month.

Can this be Winter???

Disney Wonder (December 14-18, 2008)

My first visit on the Disney Wonder, the Magic's sister ship. It was great to finally see the other ship that I had never been on yet. The theming in some areas of the ship were exactly the same as on the Magic, some were similiar but different color schemes, and some areas and even shows were completely different and even called different names. I was very impressed with the Wonder's entertainment staff, the friendliness of the crew and even liked the theming of alot of the clubs and restaraunts better. The Wonder may be my new favorite!

Palo is exactly the same on both ships. :)

Donald and his nephews on the stern of the Wonder instead of Goofy
Sailaway party on the 14th

Ariel instead of Mickey in the main atrium.
Triton's restaraunt had lights up above that turned blue and made water sounds up on the ceiling.
The main atrium on the Wonder. Instead of being accented with red like on the Magic, it was mainly accented with blue.

Instead of a city skyline on the Magic, the Wonder had maps and billboards along the halls of the nightclub areas. I really liked it.

Epcot (December 13, 2008)

Some pictures around Epcot.

This picture is blurry because with the flash it was too dark. The main atrium of the Magic during the Till we Meet Again party on the last night. The chandelier is by Dale Chihuly, who also did a larger version in the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Our server and assistant server Dennis from the Phillipines and Miroslav (Mickey) from Serbia.

Christmas decorations on the island.
On Castaway Cay, we took a bike ride for the first time, and saw parts of the island that we had never seen. It was so quiet and peaceful.
We encountered this little (big for a hermit crab) guy crossing the road. We were lucky we didn't run over him. I guess he was trying to just get to the other side. :)
If Chase were with us, he would have wanted to try and smuggle him back on the boat to keep him.
The observation tower along the bike trail. We could feel it shake when the wind blew hard. But Jared said after all of the hurricanes it had been through, there was no way it would fall down from some wind.
The adults only beach at Castaway Cay. The day was pretty overcast, and a little chilly, so not many people were here during the course of the day.

The DCL gingerbread house. And you could even see inside it. (Pic above.)
Not only one set balancing, but 2 sets. One set off to the left, and one set off to the right.
Our server Dennis from the Phillipines, concentrating on balancing forks on the ends of toothpicks. Our kids love this trick!
