Tyler's Birthday

The 29th was not only Tyler's birthday, but the day Courtney got her immunizations. Ouchies! Here is Courtney showing off her pretty sparkly and orange band-aids. Michelle went and got her immunizations done the next day (today) and Courtney wanted to wake up early just to go with MOM so she could see it get it done to her! Michelle also got a sticker, and pink and sparkly band-aids too for being so brave!

Here is Tyler talking to Grandma on the phone as we were about to sing Happy Birthday to him, and have some ice cream cake. He chose Cookies and Cream and chocolate cake for his cake and ice cream choices.
Chase was actually complying in getting his picture taken! He was saying, "CHEESE!"
Tyler's cake from Baskin Robbins:

Chase kept wanting to lick the cake! He loved the BLUE icing trim along the bottom.
Here he is trying to help blow the candles out!

Merry Christmas

Sorry these pictures are so blurry. I had no idea they were so much until I loaded them into the computer! I hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas too!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and the Polynesian

Our room at the Polynesian...these rooms are actually quite large and Jared was really impressed with this resort.
Tomorrowland at Disneyworld. The entrance and theming here were more elaborate than Disneyland's...
Goofing around on a prop racecar right after we got off of Disneyworld's version of the Indy raceway. We like the newer version at Disneyland's much better!
Hayley with a Stitch topiary. The girls love the Lilo and Stitch cartoons.
Courtney, Hayley, Woody and Bullseye at the Christmas party.
Courtney, Hayley and Tyler with Christmas Mickey
We stayed at the Polynesian resort on this trip and we loved it. We were able to stay in a newly refurbished room, and we were very impressed with the room size. The grounds were beautiful!
Courtney and Hayley in the lobby
Right about to go in the Grand Ceremonial House, which is the fancy hawaiin way of naming for the Main Lobby. The is the back side entrance we took to get to our building-- Rapa Nui.
The walk from our building to the main Ceremonial house (the main lobby).
Another shot of Courtney in the main lobby.

Last night on the ship, and Walt DIsney World

Chase konked out at our last dinner Friday night.
The characters all came out for a last wave goodnight on the last night....We had to have all our bags outside our stateroom doors by 10:00pm, and boy, did that come quickly!
We went to Disneyworld on the weekend before our flight left on Monday night. On Saturday we went to Epcot and MGM. Test Track was our main objective at Epcot. We all took up a whole car--it seated 3 and 3, so it worked out just perfect! We really love this ride.

Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment. We did not get to do this last trip, and it was ok...but not worth waiting in line for, which we didn't. :)
The Epcot ball...or as it is technically known...Spaceship Earth.
Heading into Spaceship Earth. I swear, this one never has a line....
Tyler heading up into Spaceship Earth. I love this ride, so calm and relaxing, but I could not help from falling asleep. Jared too. We were up so early disembarking the ship so we could get to WDW. We wanted to go on this ride again to get a little more sleep, but we didn't....dang.
Jared and Chase headed back to the hotel for a break and a nap, while mom took the 3 older kids over to Disney MGM to ride on Tower of Terror. Grandpa likes pictures with no people in them, so here are some nice Tower of Terror shots for him!

And here is one with Hayley in it!
Also Saturday night, I had tickets for us to see Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney. (I had bought them 6 months ago.) We really loved this show--Jared and I especially. It was awesome, and the music was beautiful... They have been playing some of the different Cirque shows on the Bravo channel, and we have been trying to catch them ever since.
On Sunday, we hit the Magic Kingdom. We pretty much spent most of the day here with a huge break in the afternoon. We went to the Christmas Party that night, so we hit a few rides in the morning and the oldest 3 came back with me that night at about 5:00pm.
The kids in front of the castle...great photo opp. Chase is fussing because he loved running over a wooden bridge in front of the Crystal Palace, and we had to head inside for breakfast, so he was NOT happy.
Chase was chosen for Chef of the Day at the Crystal Palace! He loves Winnie the Pooh, and they helped him decorate his own Mickey pancake. He had about everything on it--maple syrup, blueberry syrup, strawberries, whipped cream. I think he just kept adding on whatever they offered him! LOL
Chase was more interested in his breakfast concoction than getting his picture taken. I swear that kid is never looking at the camera...for those of you who have seen our Christmas cards, that is how he is in every picture almost!
The whole family, and Chase looking elsewhere....again! :)
(Being Chef of the Day is the only way to ever get your picture with all four characters at once, so I was pretty happy!)
Hayley had her hair braided on the last sea day on the ship. She loved it! Here you can get a better view of it while she is hugging Eeyore.
They were filming the Christmas Day parade on the day we were there. They had the castle blocked off, but we were able to sneak in and get a great picture of it with the girls.

Castaway Cay

Courtney at Castaway Cay
Courtney and Hayley playing on the family beach.
Tyler snorkeling with the sting rays on Castaway Cay
Michelle and Hayley and Courtney went parasailing on the island. Not all at once, but mom went with each girl seperately. The water all around was so shallow and clear, you could see everything underneath, even from way up high.

Courtney and Chase at Mount Rustmore. Chase was fixated with the big metal Mickey ball.
The family beach before it got too crowded....
Watching the captain dock the ship. He opted to back her in at this port.
Arriving at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.
This hallway goes down to the Walt Disney Theater. All of the major shows were held there every night. They were great.
