This picture was taken about a month ago....sorry for getting behind on the blog. Better late than never!!After taking the cover off from the winter, it was pretty clean....But after a few weeks, this is how it looked. It hasn't been this bad before, but our pump sprung a leak and kept the pool from circulating correctly. Jared took the pump in for repair awhile ago at the end of winter, but when the weather started warming up, the algae started growing---QUICKLY! So in a matter of about a week or so, it got this green! Eeeew gross!! Our very own swamp!
Jared picked up the repaired pump from the pool shop, and with it working again, and a little TLC and some algecide and chlorine, it went from this GREEN, to a cloudy blue in a matter of minutes. Jared wanted to hurry and take this picture before it changed, and I thought he would have plenty of time, but its a good thing he did, or we would have missed it. By the next day, it was crystal clear again! Now we just need to heat it up....70 degree water is much to cold for me!

Where is the after shot so we can see the difference?
I was wondering if it was warm enough yet to go swimming, but it looks like you had other things to worry about for a while. Yucky green.
We are SWIMMING every day now! The pool is 85 and out side the pool it is 104! I'm moving.
